Human Stem Cells Research

The Zand Stem Cell Company, funded by Michael Zand was officially opened on October 2005. Based in Halmstad in the Southwest coast of Sweden, the company is run by the president Michael Zand for enhancing Biological studies and developing stem cell therapies, which is responsible for storing, and supplying ethically approved, quality controlled hES as well as foetal and adult stem cell lines for research.

The purpose of the company, which is the world’s first of its kind, is open to researchers from other countries and also to serve as a resource to support the advancement of Stem cell research. And it will supply accredited scientists and as well as pharmaceutical companies with Stem cell lines with a view to developing cell therapies. They are welcome both to store Stem cell lines and to access such lines for research.
